11 artists with the most MTV VMA nominations

Taylor Swift leads the way with a total of 10 nominations, including Video of the Year (Fortnight), Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Fortnight) and Best Collaboration for the song Fortnight with Post Malone.

The artist in second place is Post Malone with nine nominations. His collaboration with Taylor Swift for the song Fortnight and with Morgan Wallen (I Had Some Help) are nominated.

Sabrina Carpenter comes in third with six nominations, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Espresso) and Best Direction for the song Please, Please, Please.

Eminem is tied with Sabrina Carpenter with six nominations. The American rapper’s nominations include Video of the Year (Houdini), Artist of the Year, Best Hip-Hop Song (Houdini) and Best Editing (Houdini).

Ariana Grande joins Eminem and Sabrina Carpenter with six nominations: Video of the Year (We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)), Artist of the Year, Best Direction (We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)) and Best Cinematography for We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).

SZA collects five nominations, including Video of the Year (Snooze), Artist of the Year and Best R&B Song (Snooze).

Megan Thee Stallion tied with SZA with five nominations. Among the categories, the artist finds herself in best collaboration with Glorilla for the song Wanna be, best hip-hop (Boa) and best direction (Boa).

Olivia Rodrigo reaps success with four nominations, including Best Cinematography (Obsessed) and Best Visual Effects (Get Him Back!).

Teddy Swims joins Olivia Rodrigo in fifth place with four nominations. The artist’s nominations include Song of the Year (Lose Control), Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music (Lose Control – Live).

Lisa from the popular group Blackpink also finds herself in fifth place with four nominations in total, including Best K-Pop Music (Rockstar), Best Choreography (Rockstar) and Best Art Direction (Rockstar).

Dua Lipa is not far behind with three nominations for Best Pop, Best Cinematography (Illusion) and Best Choreography (Houdini).
