Power hitter Albert Pujols has decided to play one last season in Major League Baseball in 2022 at the age of 42.

This will be a real farewell tour for him, as he has decided to take this step with the St. Louis Cards, his first love.

The fans will be very happy to be able to greet their favorite one last time, in the uniform with which he has thrilled them so much.

Pujols played with the Cards from 2001 to 2011. From the moment he arrived, he shook up Major League Baseball with his performances.

In his rookie season in 2001, Pujols hit 194 hits, including 37 home runs. He also maintained a .329 average at the plate!

That season, Albert Pujols won the Rookie of the Year award, a silver bat and a trip to the All-Star Game.

At 42, the veteran no longer has the skills of the past, as evidenced by his more modest stints with the Los Angeles Angels and Dodgers.
