Trump wants an investigation into Joe Biden’s mental health, as he battles an aggressive form of cancer.
Cognitive state

From the White House, Donald Trump called for an investigation into the actions of the Biden administration and the former president himself, focusing on the cognitive state of his predecessorwhen he was still in office.
Voluntarily

According to Trump, clear signs of mental decline would have rendered Joe Biden unfit to carry out his presidential duties, a reality his administration would have deliberately concealed.
The autopen

Trump goes so far as to assert that all the documents officially signed during this term could have been signed by members of Biden’s entourage using the presidential automatic pen, or “autopen”, without the former president’s actual consent.
A book

This offensive comes as Joe Biden battles an aggressive form of prostate cancer, diagnosed a few weeks ago, at the same time as a particularly damning book about him was being widely promoted on CNN, co-authored by none other than star anchor Jake Tapper.
Biden answers

But far from being intimidated by Trump and his detractors, Joe Biden firmly answered, calling the attack “ridiculous and false”.
"Let me be clear"

With his response, Biden intends to send an unequivocal message, adding, “Let me be clear: I made the decisions during my presidency. I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation and proclamations,” the former president said in an official statement.
Trump wants his investigation

According to CNN, in his official memo, President Trump asks that the investigation look into any attempts, organized or otherwise, to hide information about Joe Biden’s mental and physical health from the public. He also wants the investigation to look into possible agreements between his former aides to pass off, in a coordinated and deceptive manner, certain videos showing his cognitive difficulties as faked.
