Musk threatens Trump and some GOP members with this idea… again.
His chaotic departure

Elon Musk, who has kept a low profile since his chaotic departure from the White House and his virulent criticism of Donald Trump on his own X social network, is resurfacing on the political scene.
The biggest rise

He once again attacked Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill”, denouncing it as the biggest debt increase in history.
The next day

Musk promises on X to campaign against every member of Congress who supports the bill, adding that if this “insane spending bill” passes, the “America Party” political party will be founded the very next day.
A final vote

As Trump’s bill, amended by the Senate, was sent back to the House for a final vote before being forwarded to the President’s desk, Elon Musk took the opportunity to get tough and step up his threats.
In favor

The billionaire declared on X that “if it’s the last thing I do on this Earth”, he will personally see to it that everyone who voted for Trump’s bill “loses their primary next year”.
An alternative

This is the second time Musk has brandished the threat of creating a third political party in the United States, since his breakup with Donald Trump. He believes that the country needs an alternative to the “Democrat-Republican uniparty” so that the population can finally have a real voice.
Trump reacts

The President reacted sharply on Truth Social to Musk’s recent statements, suggesting that the DOGE department, formerly overseen by Musk, should “take a good, hard, look” at the subsidies received by his many companies. He also hinted that he might “look into” deporting Musk, who was born in South Africa.
