Warner Bros. will bring the magic of Harry Potter to television with the announcement that a TV series will debut on Max in 2026, according to Discovery’s confirmation, reported by Variety.

The CEO’s announcement has sparked worldwide enthusiasm among fans, who are eagerly awaiting the release of this new series. But speculation as to the possible participation of the original Harry Potter actors is in vain.
Although he rejected the idea of his return in the new series in an interview, Daniel Radcliffe said the series deserved a complete new beginning. He pointed to the emergence of a new generation of Harry Potter fans expected in two years’ time, when the new adventures in the saga are released.
It’s worth remembering that production of Harry Potter: The Series has been underway since at least 2021 at Max, and that Warner Bros. has confirmed its commitment to broadcasting the series over a 10-year period!
