Amy Schumer cyberbullies Nicole Kidman, apologizes (not really) and then goes after Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis!

Amy Schumer is known for her edgy sense of humor, but a joke on her Instagram account simply didn’t sit well with her followers, who accused her of cyberbullying… actress Nicole Kidman!

In the now-deleted post, Amy Schumer received plenty of criticism when she said:

“This how humans sit”, about a photo taken of actress Nicole Kidman at the US Open, mocking her unnatural pose in the shot.

The star, who has since deleted the joke from her Instagram account, has apologized, but not without throwing more shade… this time at Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis!

“I want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien. I will be asking the cast of that 70s show to write letters advocating for my forgiveness,” she said!

Remember that Kutcher and Kunis are in the news these days, as they too are embroiled in controversy. Letters sent by the couple to a judge in the rape trial of That ’70s Show co-star Danny Masterson have been published, in which both stars praise Masterson and ask the judge to spare him. Masterson was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison after being accused by multiple women. Of course, Kutcher and Kunis’ letters sparked public outrage, and they also had to apologize.

Amy Schumer thus adds her voice, however awkwardly, to several celebrities who have sharply criticized the That ’70s Show stars in their unconditional support for their colleague convicted of raping two women.

Notably, Christina Ricci, who wrote in an Instagram story shortly after the letters were published:

“People we know as great guys can be predators and abusers and it’s hard to accept, but we have to.”

Kathy Griffin denounced the couple quite on TikTok:

“(…) this guy was also convicted of drugging these women, that’s such a serious thing that I don’t really care that (…) he was a good guy to work with.”

Trigger warning. This has haunted me my whole life. I tried everything I could think of. No one would do anything. #SA #speakup #believevictims #believewomen #triggerwarning

Schumer, for her part, has done a good job of deflecting attention from her comments against Kidman…
