Bono drank with Obama and woke up in a strange place!

Bono said that after drinking evening with the former president of the United States Barack Obama, he woke up in Abraham Lincoln‘s bedroom!

This drinking session took place in the White House, as Bono and his wife Ali Newson, the Irish activist, visited the first American family.

Bono claims he almost passed out due to an allergic reaction to salicylates, which are found in many things, including red wine. The effects of this allergy: his head swells and it causes him to fall asleep somewhere.

“I ended up slipping away to take a nap and the president said to Ali after about 10 minutes, Where’s Bono?, he told the NY Post.

Of course, his wife explained to Obama that Bono had to sleep for 10 minutes… then, Ali and Barack Obama went to wake up the leader of U2, and the former president could not help but explode with laughter!

This story does not say how much the first family and Bono drank, but according to a confidence of Bono, Barack’s cocktails are very strong!
