Chinese company unveils new “Cybertruck” to rival Tesla

At the 21st Shanghai International Motor Show, Chinese automaker GAC unveiled a pickup with a design strongly reminiscent of Tesla’s Cybertruck.

With this model, GAC is making a strategic entry into the global electric truck market, clearly demonstrating its ambition to rival the company which, until recently, dominated this sector worldwide.

GAC describes this vehicle as an “OmniTerrain Pickup”, designed for both urban driving and off-road adventures.

This concept model features a bold, futuristic design.

GAC is announcing cabs with the comfort of a passenger car, capable of transforming this utility pickup into a true off-roader with a “mobile living space”.

The vehicle is due to make its debut in Australia this year.

Large-scale production for international markets is scheduled for 2027.
