Ellen DeGeneres retires completely

Ellen DeGeneres made it abundantly clear at her show in Santa Rosa, California: she’s done with the industry.

While there for three consecutive nights on her Ellen’s Last Stand… Up tour, the comedian announced to the audience that they would never see her on stage again, or at all, the SFGate reported first.

A fan in the audience reportedly asked her if she would be appearing in Broadway shows or movies.

At this point, the comedian replied:

“No. This is the last time you’ll see me. After my Netflix Special, I’m done.”

Later, another fan reportedly begged her to reprise the voice of Doris in an upcoming Pixar film, but Ellen insisted that wasn’t going to happen:

“No, I’m going bye-bye, remember,”

So it seems it’s really the end of the road for the once superstar daytime host and comedian.

Her tour ends in Minneapolis on August 17.
