Kamala Harris fired up the DNC, Chicago and America with a speech as powerful as it was emotional.

The new Democratic presidential candidate took time to reflect on her background and the impact of her mother, an immigrant with a tireless spirit and will.

Looking back on her career as a prosecutor, Kamala Harris then formally accepts the nomination, to thunderous applause from the crowd.

Then, without wasting any time, Harris goes on the offensive and systematically attacks Donald Trump for many minutes, recalling several of his actions that many consider undemocratic, in addition to his guilty verdicts in two trials, one criminal and one civil.

The current VP then charges into the more difficult topics, be it the war between Israel and Hamas, illegal immigration at the U.S. border, Russia, Ukraine, Iran and North Korea.

Then, in an inclusive conclusion filled with optimism reminiscent of the Obama era, Kamala Harris ignites the American spirit and urges people to vote in November.
