“Sometimes I still can’t believe the opportunity I’ve had.”
The man who has already won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs seems to have other projects in mind, and we imagine it’s time for the doctor to devote himself to medicine.
So it’s with thanks to his agent Sasha, his lover Florence, Coach Reid, the Chiefs, the Jets, McGill University and Quebec fans for supporting him throughout his sporting career, that he now retires – a well-deserved retirement for the player.
“I’ve been lucky enough to play in the NFL for 9 years now, and sometimes I still can’t believe the opportunity I’ve had to live this adventure. Being a professional athlete is a privilege, as well as an enriching human and personal experience. The victories, defeats and injuries have all been opportunities to learn to win and lose as a team while managing great emotions,” reads his Instagram post.
