LeBron James becomes the richest man in NBA history
LeBrons James has just signed a two-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers that will pay him a total of $97.1 million.

A player option clause for the 2024-25 campaign is also included in the agreement, said the CEO of Klutch Sports, James’ agency.

This season, Bron will complete the final year of his current pact, which will pay him $44.5 million.

King James thus becomes the NBA’s highest career money earner with a total of $532 million, surpassing Kevin Durant and his gross value of $498 million.

Despite the California franchise’s recent dismal season, James opted to return to bring a championship back to the City of Angels.
