Minions 3 confirmed by Illumination!

Universal Pictures and Illumination have announced to everyone’s delight that the famous Minions will be making a comeback in Minions 3, scheduled for theatrical release in summer 2027.

The Minions have been a phenomenal success, captivating audiences of all ages with their irresistible humor and zany adventures. Since their first appearance in 2010, the Despicable Me and Minions films have generated nearly five billion dollars (!), becoming the most lucrative animated franchise in history.

This announcement coincides with the recent release of Despicable Me 4, in cinemas since July 4, which has already grossed over $255 million worldwide at the time of writing.

While we await the release of Minions 3, Despicable Me 4 is currently in theaters!
