Netflix crew attacked by tiger sharks!

The film crew of the Netflix docu-series Our Planet II found themselves in the midst of a nightmare, while filming in the paradise-like setting of Laysan Island, a desert island located 1000 km north of Hawaii.

While the docu-series crew was on board an inflatable boat on the island’s coast, filming newborn albatrosses taking their first flight, the situation took a terrifying turn worthy of the film Jaws.

Two tiger sharks swooped down on their boat and attacked it to the point where the boat was pierced by the sharks’ teeth… leaving huge holes in it!

“It was like something out of Jaws!” the director confirmed in an interview, reported by HuffPost.

At the time of the shark attack, the film crew was in the waters nearly 100 meters from Laysan.

“The crew was panicked,” continued the witness, claiming that the crew had to urgently beach themselves on the sand, in what must have been several minutes of sheer terror.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in this terrifying incident!
