OceanGate: The Titan imploded, according to experts

While it was already known that all hopes of finding the passengers of the small exploration submarine reported missing since last Sunday were now in vain, since the estimated air reserve had been exhausted according to expert calculations, it finally seems that the Titan has catastrophically imploded, killing all the passengers on board.

According to CNN, Pelagic Research Services has discovered two large debris fields on the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean, nearly 1,600 feet from the wreck of the Titanic.

“The debris is consistent with a catastrophic implosion of the ship,” a U.S. Coast Guard spokesman tragically confirmed at a press conference.

Sufficiently large pieces of the exterior of the ship’s pressure chamber were among the debris, unfortunately leaving no doubt as to the fate of the crew.

“Our thoughts are with the families today,” added the US Coast Guard spokesman.

A sad end for the families of the missing, who were still holding out hope with all the resources deployed by several countries to find and rescue the Titan and its passengers.
