"Hello, my name is Pete Davidson. This message is for... uh... thank you so much for making public comments about me not adopting a dog," can be heard at the beginning of the recording published by TMZ.

...and soon he was criticized for not adopting from kennels and cowardly choosing an industry dog.

Criticism also came from the PETA organization, and the news quickly went viral, which obviously angered Davidson.

"I just want you to know that I'm severely allergic to dogs. So I have to choose a specific breed. I'm not allergic to cavapoos," Pete then says in the message.
