Rupert Murdoch is leaving FOX
Rupert Murdoch, chairman of Fox Corporation and Fox News, announced his departure in a memo to his employees.

“[…] the time is right for me to take on different roles, knowing that we have truly talented teams.”

Murdoch’s son, Lachlan Murdoch, will take over as president of Fox Corporation and Fox News.

Lachlan Murdoch, born on September 8, 1971, is Murdoch’s eldest son. Lachlan has been co-chairman and CEO of Fox Corporation since March 2019, and will in turn continue the Murdoch family’s media legacy.
