The rumors that are circulating about the interest that Ryan Reynolds interest in the Ottawa Senators have increased a bit since the actor's appearance on the Tonight Show on Jimmy Fallon Monday night.
The star confirmed his interest in the Senators, and he also made a call that he is looking for future partners to acquire the club.
“I'm trying to buy the Senators, it's very expensive, so I need a partner with really deep pockets. It's called a consortium…,” Reynolds told Fallon.

Reynolds is in the midst of a recruitment drive to form a group to buy the Ontario franchise, which was put on the market by the daughters of the late Eugene Melnyk.
The 46-year-old is so keen to buy the franchise because he spent a good part of his youth in the Ottawa area.
“I grew up in Vancouver, but I also grew up in Ottawa and spent a lot of time in Vanier, which is a small town just outside of Ottawa!”
With Reynolds ‘ statements on the Fallon show, one can conclude that his goal is clear: he really does have the Sens in his sights.
