Kanye West comes eighth on the Spotify chart, having released several albums in 2024, including Vultures 1 and Vultures 2.

Peso Pluma comes seventh in the charts, having released his fourth career album in June 2024.

Travis Scott finds himself in sixth place despite a relatively quiet year on his side. The artist did perform at the Grammy Awards in February 2024.

Billie Eilish took fifth place in the charts with the release of her brand new album Hit Me Hard And Soft in May. The album was a great success, especially the song Birds Of A Feather, which is also one of the top 3 most listened-to songs on Spotify in 2024.

Drake comes in at number four. The Toronto singer received several SOCAN awards this year, including Songwriter of the Year.

Bad Bunny comes in third despite a slightly less busy year. Bad Bunny finishes the year in style, however, with the new song EL CLúB, just released in December 2024.

The Weeknd takes second place after releasing the first single from his brand-new album in September, due for release in January 2025. The album Starboy (2016) also did well in 2024.

It’s no great surprise that Taylor Swift takes first place in this chart. The singer had a successful year with her world tour, The Eras Tour, and saw her show filmed and shown in cinemas everywhere.
