The NFL paid tribute to the Queen

The NFL season kicked off on Thursday night and the league obviously paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth who passed away on the same day as the opening of the sport.

A moment of silence was observed before the kickoff of the 2022 campaign. The moment of silence took place before the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams kicked off the game live from SoFi Stadium.

The Rock was also on hand, introducing the Los Angeles Rams, the champions of the last Superbowl, as only he can.

As a reminder, the BMW PGA Championship has suspended operations until further notice, while organizers have indicated that golf will be on hiatus for the time being.
