Tomas Plekanec is 40 years old! - Beinteractivegroup

The Montreal Canadiens are a very classy organization that is known for not forgetting its alumni… except during the Marc Bergevin era.

That said, to celebrate Tomas Plekanec‘s 40 candles, Habs shared two photos of Pleky, one in a blue-white-red uniform and one where he was a kid.

Plekanec and his turtleneck have left their mark on the Montreal Canadiens for many reasons, including his efficiency on defense and in the face-off circle.

The former number 14 also played a total of 984 games for the Sainte-Flanelle, with whom he also collected 606 points.

Let’s not forget his 24-game stint (including seven playoff games with the Leafs) with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and his return to the CH for three games to reach the 1,000-game mark with HIS team.
