A 12 meter aquarium explodes in a hotel!
A 12 meter high aquarium exploded at about 5:50 am in a German hotel, causing a lot of damage.

The explosion was probably caused by the cold, killing 1500 fish that lived in the said aquarium, while triggering a hunt for another 500 fish that were in another aquarium below.

One million liters of water were spilled due to the freezing temperatures of the night which probably caused a crack in the water tank, creating the explosion. Authorities are still investigating the cause.

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin also saw two people injured by pieces of glass from the aquarium named AquaDom. These were treated at the hospital for injuries.
