A Superman comic book sold for $6M!

If you’ve got any old comic books at home… some of them could be worth a small fortune!

As reported by NBC News, the first Superman comic book printed in June 1938 has reportedly sold at auction for $6M (US).

This is the most expensive comic book ever sold at auction, while the same edition sold for $5.3 million in 2022. Quite a record…

The auction in question took place in Dallas, Texas, and sold over US$25 million worth of comics of all kinds over the weekend of April 6.

According to the same source, the book cost 10 cents in 1938, equivalent to $2 today!

Only 1,000 copies remain of the 200,000 that were printed at the time…
