The trailer for Leave the World Behind, the first fiction film from Higher Ground Productions founded by Barack and Michelle Obama, has been unveiled!

The creator of “Mr. Robot” directs Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali and Kevin Bacon in Netflix’s intimate disaster movie “Leave the World Behind.”

Mr. Robot series creator Sam Esmail is the director behind this disaster movie based on author Rumaan Alam’s 2020 book.

The book has received critical acclaim for its engaging narrative, complex characters and ability to comment on contemporary issues such as racial tensions, climate change and the fragility of modern society.
