MLB is not only investigating Ippei Mizuhara’s allegations of theft and gambling, but also Shohei Ohtani, who certainly needs to know the habits of his translator over the last ten years.
Major League Baseball has been gathering information since the announcement of the allegations involving Mizuhara and, by the way, Shohei Ohtani… since it’s his money.

Mizuhara, known as the great No. 17’s best friend, implicated him in his gambling debt story, indicating that Shohei Ohtani was fully aware of his debts as he loaned him millions of dollars in order to get him out of trouble.
However… a few moments later, he contradicted himself, saying that the Japanese man had no idea how much debt he had racked up as a result of his numerous bets.
On the other hand, Shohei Ohtani’s lawyers continue to claim that the superstar was the victim of massive theft at the hands of Mizuhara.
MLB simply doesn’t want Shohei Ohtani to become a kind of Pete Rose, who, despite monstrous performances, has been banned from baseball since 1989.
