Fans have begun to speculate on theories that the song is a reference to her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth.

There are reportedly several references to their relationship in both the music video and the song itself, but Miley Cyrus has never really confirmed these speculations.

However, the song is not at all the actor’s favorite, reports the Daily Mail. Indeed, Hemsworth seems to be in complete rage against his ex, and several rumors allege that he has decided to sue the singer for defamation!

Liam would like to protect his career and the famous song would have almost put it in danger, according to him.
