The singer Mariah Carey kicked off the holiday season at midnight.

Indeed, the quintessential Mother Christmas offered us her countdown on Instagram as she moved from Halloween to the long-awaited season.

Mariah Carey will perform two very special Christmas shows, one in Toronto on Dec. 11 at Scotiabank Arena and one on Dec. 13 at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

“It’s almost time NEW YORK + TORONTO!!! Come celebrate Christmas with me this December! Kinda excited to be back on stage and feasting with everyone!!! Tickets go on sale 10/28 at 10am on ticketmaster.com,” Mariah explained about her upcoming shows!
