Trump (and his bandage) triumphs at the RNC!

The event marked his first public appearance since the previous weekend when he survived an assassination attempt.

On the final night of the convention, Trump took the stage and delivered a scripted first part of his speech, which is unusual for the former president. In it, he recounted his experience regarding the failed assassination attempt in a speech that fell pretty flat overall.

However, the second half of his speech wasn’t scripted, and for those who thought they were seeing a changed Trump, many point out that the real, divisive Donald Trump quickly reappeared, complaining in particular about a stolen election.
