Fans of The Crow not pleased with the Bill Skarsgård version

Bill Skarsgård dons iconic leathers and make-up in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of The Crow. The first images of Skarsgård, famous for his portrayal of Pennywise in It, do not inspire unanimous enthusiasm among fans of The Crow.

The roles of Eric Draven, played by Skarsgard, and Shelly, played by FKA Twigs, tell of a tragic love story that was originally brought to the screen in 1994 with actor Brandon Lee. Sadly, Lee tragically lost his life in a filming accident, bringing an aura of mystery to this new production and perhaps explaining fans’ protective preoccupation with Skarsgard’s interpretation.
